I began my professional journey from humble beginnings by first cultivating a foundation in customer service before stumbling into direct sales and eventually embarking upon the world of financial services and finding myself ascending from the bottom of the professional totem pole to rubbing shoulders with the best of them.
The journey wasn't smooth. Many times it was like riding a rollercoaster with a broken lap bar, with nothing but sheer willpower (or stubbornness) keeping me glued to my seat. I didn't go to college. The idea of borrowing tens of thousands without having a sure way to pay it back far exceeded my level of financial courage. Yet, despite things starting out as well-planned as base jumping in bad weather, I persisted onwards and endured.
Financial services marked my epiphany. It was like sunlight breaking through the stormy clouds of uncertainty, revealing to me my true calling. Knowing what I had to do for myself all those years, having had no one, no advisor to guide me made this an easy transition.
I quickly got registered, worked for a couple of big names, and got to serve many hundreds of diverse clientele ranging from saving neophytes to seasoned business owners. I taught myself everything I could and more about this business.
Unfortunately, working for industry giants posed a gut-punching dilemma: serve smaller accounts and fail or continue to chase larger and larger ones. Unsettled, but determined to follow my beliefs, I chose independence. Because I believe that every client deserves to receive top-tier financial planning, advice and guidance no matter who they are or how much money they make. Period.
At home, my wife and I do our best to raise our two gold-haired children and keep our two cats entertained. I've always wanted to be a dad. But no one told me that I'd be raising literal spawns of myself (good grief). In all seriousness, my family means everything. We love the outdoors and nature, and we love to learn new things, travel, and explore. We also love a good evening indoors playing games and getting deep in the weeds of what if scenarios, like what if a black hole suddenly appeared where the moon is.
My goals in life are simple: to do good, meaningful work, take care of my family, and strive to be the best version of myself that I can be. My financial advising and planning practice will resemble this simple life approach and my clients will be rewarded with an advisor who is passionate about their success, who will treat them like family, protect their interests, and who will be relentless in his pursuit of answers and solutions to every problem'"
