Leon Ren, MBA, CIMA®
Leon is an educated engineer turned investor.
He first worked for United Airlines in Houston, Texas. Influenced by Dave Ramsey, he bought his first condo with saved money, which has become the starting point of his American dream and independent wealth.
Leon also worked as an investment accountant for universities in California, responsible for financial statement preparation, annual audit, and trade confirmation.
He wants to apply only the best things learned from institutional investing, such as diversification by indexing, working with reputable companies, timely monitoring, and accounting for the portfolio, all with a more personal approach in his client-facing practice.
He has an MBA with a concentration in accounting and an Investment Foundation certificate from the CFA Institute. He is also a Certified Investment Management Analyst professional from the Investment & Wealth Institute and has passed the FINRA Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam.
Leon is fortunate to do what he loves – reading quarterly earning release, annual reports, and the Wall Street Journal daily. Like his heroes, Warren Buffett and Chalie Munger, he prefers a rich but simple, low-profile, and low-maintenance lifestyle. He currently resides in Katy Texas, with his wife and three boys.
