Liz is a self-described crazy maniac about financial education. Her mission: to be a guide for women as they build and grow their financial lives.

A native Texan, Liz grew up and graduated high school in Midland. In 2010, after receiving a Master of Arts from Texas Tech University (go Red Raiders!), an internship at Harpers Ferry National Park brought her to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. There was no going back.

In 2008, Liz returned to school, graduating with a Master of Business Administration from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Her path eventually led her to the corporate personal finance world, but the fit wasn’t right. She wanted to serve and educate - not be tied to account minimums and commission-based products.

At the beginning of 2024, driven by a calling to disrupt the status quo, Liz pivoted and launched Pink Thread Financial. She now works in her community and across the country, creating safe spaces where women can learn and thrive.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband Dan, and their two very bad cats, Sage and Cheddar. Traveling, and eating while traveling, are her passions and she is always ready to talk about her next trip. On the weekends you can find her camping at the beach or enjoying live music at a local winery.
