Rebecca Lees
Founder at Purpose Financial
Rebecca is a Technical Program Manager turned Financial Life Planner.
After spending twenty years in the defense industry, she understands the challenges of managing a busy career alongside an active family and recognizes that thoughtful financial planning often takes a back seat to more pressing priorities. She’s passionate about empowering busy professionals to cut through everyday chaos and take control of their money.
Rebecca has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. After two decades of managing financial and engineering development programs and a decades long love for personal finance, she followed a calling to have a bigger impact through financial planning and coaching.
She believes that good financial planning goes far beyond investment management. By combining a life design approach with her background in project management, she partners with clients to create and implement a holistic plan that leverages money as a tool to live their best life.
At heart, Rebecca is a minimalist that loves simplicity. She’s married to her best friend and fellow music lover and is mom of two rowdy teenagers and one sweet German Shepherd dog. Rebecca lives in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and, when she’s not nerding out with a favorite podcast, you’ll find her hiking or enjoying a nearby winery with her tribe!
