Seth Kelly, CFA
I am a lifelong resident of central MO. I grew up in Holts Summit, went to college at Westminster College in Fulton and gained most of my professional experience in Jefferson City.
I started learning the craft of making money with money, or investing, in 1998. Since then, I have held investment related jobs at banks and pension funds.
While at the bank, I learned prudent approaches to meeting financial liabilities with simple investments.
As the Chief Investment Officer at large pension funds, I learned how to meet retirement income liabilities with sophisticated, complex investment solutions. As an advisor, I want to bring institutional investment concepts to individual investor, while also keeping investments simple and cheap.
Fees are the gravity of investment - they always pull down. Simplicity is cheap, so accepting complexity must pay more than it costs.
I currently reside in Wardsville and have two daughters. In my spare time, I enjoy family, cutting firewood and training jiu jitsu. Just like my investment concepts – I’m a simple guy in life too.
