After receiving a master's in Economics from Claremont Graduate University, Suzanne spent fifteen years as an investment professional, in portfolio management and manager research. She enjoyed the work, but wanted to "treat the whole patient" rather than focus on one aspect of their finances. She also prefers to work directly with people for whom her efforts can make a positive impact.
Suzanne offers full-picture financial advising for families and individuals. She loves the confluence of economics and psychology that this work involves, and feels honored and delighted to be able to be of service to people in all walks of life.
Her superpowers include the ability to hear the concerns behind what people are saying about their finances, and to analyze without judgement. She also sees connections that others do not, which helps her solve puzzles in creative ways.
She earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2006, and became a CFP Practitioner in 2021.
When not geeking out on spreadsheets, Suzanne is parenting, cooking, gardening, practicing yoga, singing too loudly, and helping co-lead her daughter’s Girl Scout troop. She and her blended family live in Portland, OR, where it is probably raining, but folks are still going for a hike.
